Understand the mathematics and intuition behind modern AI, then build it yourself. Over 12 structured weeks you will move from Python and data fundamentals through classical machine learning, deep learning, NLP and Generative AI to deploying your own models, applying each concept to real problems in healthcare, finance, retail and education.
Machine learning you can explain, build and use responsibly
The AI & Machine Learning program is a 3-month, live online course for learners who already write basic Python and want a rigorous, practical path into artificial intelligence. It covers the full modern stack in a deliberate order: the data toolkit (NumPy, pandas, Matplotlib and Seaborn), the mathematics models depend on, the complete machine-learning workflow, supervised and unsupervised algorithms, deep learning for images and sequences, natural language processing, and the large language models (LLMs) behind today's Generative AI tools. It finishes with deployment, responsible AI and an end-to-end capstone project.
AI is now part of everyday products and decisions, from fraud alerts and credit scoring to medical imaging, product recommendations and adaptive learning platforms. Calling an AI API is easy. What employers and research teams look for is people who can frame a problem correctly, prepare data without leakage, pick and evaluate a model honestly, explain why it behaves the way it does, and recognize when it should not be trusted. This course teaches those fundamentals first, because the same fundamentals decide whether a Generative AI application succeeds or fails.
Every topic follows the same rhythm: intuition (what problem the method solves and why it works), theory (just enough mathematics to reason about it), implementation (from scratch where it builds understanding, then with industry-standard libraries) and application (a real-world use case or dataset). Live classes are interactive and hands-on: concepts are explained, code is written together and your questions are answered in the session. Weekly assignments and guided projects then turn what you learned into skills you can demonstrate.
By the end you will have six guided projects and a capstone in a portfolio you can share, structured interview preparation behind you, and, on meeting the course requirements, a Certificate of Completion from AwT Academy. The program is led by Manish Mishra, Managing Director & Head of AwT Academy and a Technical Trainer and AI/ML educator.
Theory
Linear algebra, probability, calculus and the logic of each algorithm, taught through intuition and worked examples rather than memorized formulas.
Projects
Six guided projects and one capstone, built in Python with scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow/Keras, PyTorch and Hugging Face.
Real-World Use Cases
Case studies from healthcare, finance, retail and education that show how AI is actually designed, evaluated and governed.
The program is designed for motivated learners who are comfortable with basic programming and want a serious, structured grounding in AI and machine learning, not a quick tour of tools.
Engineering, computer science and IT students (B.Tech, BE, BCA, MCA, B.Sc, M.Sc) who want a strong ML foundation and a project portfolio for placements, internships or higher studies.
Software developers who want to add machine learning and LLM-powered features to the products they build, and understand what is happening under the hood.
Data analysts and BI professionals ready to move from describing what happened to predicting what will happen.
Domain professionals in finance, healthcare, retail, education and other fields who want to apply AI to problems they already understand deeply.
Graduates and career switchers preparing for ML and data roles who need structured, project-based practice and interview preparation.
Educators and researchers who want a rigorous, hands-on update on modern machine learning, deep learning and Generative AI practice.
Prerequisites
Basic Python (recommended): variables, loops, conditionals, functions, lists and dictionaries.
Senior-secondary (high-school) mathematics: algebra, graphs of functions and basic probability. Week 2 builds the rest.
Comfort with a computer: installing software, managing files and using a web browser.
Not required: prior machine-learning experience, advanced calculus or a dedicated GPU.
What you need
A laptop or desktop computer (Windows, macOS or Linux). A phone or tablet is not enough for hands-on coding.
A stable internet connection for live classes and cloud notebooks.
A modern web browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
A Google account, which may be needed to join live classes on Google Meet and is used for Google Colab in deep-learning exercises.
A headset or microphone is helpful for asking questions during live sessions.
New to programming or rusty with Python? Week 1 includes a focused Python-for-ML refresher, but it is not a beginner's programming course. If you have not written Python before, start with our Python course (From Basics to Advanced) and join AI & Machine Learning afterward.
This course may not be the right fit if…
you are looking only for no-code AI tools or prompt shortcuts, without learning how models work;
you expect a job, internship or placement guarantee (we do not offer one; we provide career guidance and interview preparation instead);
you cannot attend live sessions regularly: at least 75% live attendance is required for the Certificate of Completion.
Learners under 18 may enroll with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, collected in the registration form (minimum learner age 10). Because of the mathematical depth, we recommend this course for learners who have completed senior-secondary mathematics. See how we protect younger learners' data in our Privacy Policy.

Questions & answers
Frequently asked questions
Do I need prior experience in machine learning or AI?
No. The course starts from the foundations of machine learning and builds up to deep learning and Generative AI. What we do recommend is basic Python: you should be comfortable with variables, loops, functions, lists and dictionaries. If you are new to programming, start with our Python course.
How much mathematics do I need?
Senior-secondary (high-school) mathematics is enough to begin. Week 2 teaches the linear algebra, probability, statistics and calculus that machine learning relies on, with an emphasis on intuition and worked examples. You will implement key ideas such as gradient descent in code, which makes the mathematics concrete.
Do I need a powerful computer or a GPU?
No. A laptop or desktop with a modern browser and a stable internet connection is enough. Classical machine learning runs comfortably on a typical laptop, and for deep learning we use cloud notebooks such as Google Colab and Kaggle Notebooks, which can provide GPU access free of charge, subject to each platform's own usage limits and terms.
Can I join from outside India?
Yes. Live online classes on Google Meet are open to learners worldwide. The fee for learners resident outside India is ₹30,000 + 18% GST (₹5,400) = ₹35,400; for learners in India it is ₹24,000 + GST (₹4,320) = ₹28,320. Both are charged in INR through Razorpay, and the registration form applies the right fee from the country you select. International cards are accepted where your bank supports them; any currency conversion and international transaction charges are set by your bank. Class timings are in IST, so please check the conversion for your time zone when you choose your preferred slot.
When does the next batch start, and what are the class timings?
Upcoming batch dates are shared after you register. During registration you choose a preferred slot (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Weekend or Flexible, all in IST), and our team confirms the start date and final timings before the batch begins. If the academy ever postpones a batch start by more than 30 days, you may choose a full refund or a transfer.
What happens if I miss a live class?
Let us know, catch up using that week's study material and assignment, and bring your questions to the next live session. If the academy makes a recording of a session available, it is for your personal study only. Not every session is recorded, so please don't plan around recordings. Remember that the Certificate of Completion requires at least 75% live-session attendance.
Does the course cover Generative AI and large language models?
Yes. Week 10 explains how large language models work at a high level, then covers prompt engineering, embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and the responsible use of LLM APIs, including key security, cost, privacy and output evaluation. Project 06 is a RAG-based question-answering assistant. The focus is on understanding and building with LLMs, not on training large models from scratch, which needs resources far beyond any course setting.
How do I earn the Certificate of Completion?
You need at least 75% live-session attendance and must submit the required assignments and the final (capstone) project. The certificate is issued by AwT Academy in the name you provide at registration.
Will this course guarantee me a job or placement?
No. No course can honestly guarantee a job, and we don't. We provide structured interview preparation and career guidance, including ML theory questions, case discussions, mock interviews and portfolio advice, and you finish with a body of project work you can show employers. Outcomes depend on your effort, background and the job market.
Are offline (classroom) classes available?

What is the refund and cancellation policy?
If you cancel before the batch starts or within the first 4 days from the batch start date, you receive a 100% refund of the full amount paid (course fee + GST). On day 5, 6 or 7 from the batch start date, you can receive 50% of the course fee plus the GST attributable to it. From day 8 onward there is no refund, though a one-time transfer to a later batch may be granted at our discretion, subject to seat availability, to be used within 6 months. If we cancel a batch or postpone its start by more than 30 days, you choose between a 100% refund and a free transfer. Days are counted in calendar days from the batch start date (the first scheduled live session). To request a refund, WhatsApp us on +91 62830 97869 or call +91 62830 97869 / +91 94652 65663 with your Registration ID, Razorpay Payment ID, registered name and email, and reason. We acknowledge within 48 hours and decide within 7 working days; approved refunds go to the original payment method only. Full details are in our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Can I switch to a different course after enrolling?
Yes. You can switch once, free of charge, to another course in the same fee tier (the fee is the same for every course), either before your batch starts or within the first 4 days of the batch. WhatsApp us on +91 62830 97869 or call +91 62830 97869 / +91 94652 65663 with your Registration ID and Razorpay Payment ID to arrange it.
