- Learners under 18. A learner under 18 may register only with the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian, collected in the registration form (guardian name, relationship, mobile number, email address and consent). We may contact the parent or guardian to confirm consent before or after confirming the seat.
- Accurate information. You must provide true, accurate and complete information, including your name as it should appear on the certificate and your country of residence, and keep it up to date by contacting us.
- Online courses. Live online courses are open to learners in any country, subject to the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for making sure that taking an online course from India is lawful where you live.
- Offline courses. Offline classroom courses are coming soon and are not yet available. When launched, they will be open only to learners in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula.
- Prerequisites. Some courses recommend prior knowledge, as described on the course page. It is your responsibility to check that a course suits your level; you can contact us for guidance before you register.
4. Courses & curriculum changes
4.1 Course descriptions. Course pages describe the curriculum, projects, tools and level of each course in good faith. Every course runs for 3 months and is delivered as live online sessions with hands-on practice, assignments and projects.
4.2 Curriculum updates. Technology changes quickly. We review our syllabi regularly and may refine, update, replace or re-order topics, tools, software versions or projects to keep a course current and effective. Such changes will not materially reduce the overall scope of the course you registered for.
4.3 Trainers. Sessions are led by the academy's trainers. We may change the trainer for a session or a batch where necessary, giving notice where reasonably possible.
4.4 Equal treatment. Every learner in a batch receives the same curriculum, support and certificate eligibility, regardless of fee tier.
4.5 Withdrawal of a course. If we decide to withdraw a course or cancel a batch, the remedies in section 7 and the Refund Policy apply.
5. Registration & seat confirmation
- How to register. You register by completing the online form at our registration page, passing an automated security check and paying the fee through the Razorpay checkout.
- Seat confirmation. Your seat is confirmed only after Razorpay confirms that your payment has been captured and our server has verified it with Razorpay. A form submitted without a verified payment does not create a registration or reserve a seat.
- Receipt. Once confirmed, you see an on-screen receipt with your Registration ID, and Razorpay emails you a payment confirmation. Please keep your Registration ID and Razorpay Payment ID for any future request.
- One learner per registration. One registration covers one learner for one course. Fees are personal and cannot be transferred to another person, except through the batch-transfer and course-switch options in the Refund Policy.
- Refusal or cancellation. We may refuse or cancel a registration that contains false, incomplete or misleading information, that we reasonably suspect is fraudulent, or where we cannot verify the payment. If we cancel a registration for these reasons, any refund is handled in line with the Refund Policy.
- Failed and duplicate payments. If money is debited but the payment fails, it is automatically reversed by your bank or Razorpay, typically within 5–7 working days. If you pay twice for the same registration, the duplicate payment is refunded in full.
6. Fees, taxes & payment
6.1 The fee depends only on your country of residence and is the same for every course:
| Learner | Course fee | GST @ 18% | Total payable |
|---|---|---|---|
| Resident in India | ₹24,000 | ₹4,320 | ₹28,320 |
| Resident outside India | ₹30,000 | ₹5,400 | ₹35,400 |
- Fee tier. Your fee tier is determined by the country of residence you declare at registration, and the registration form applies the correct fee automatically. If you misdeclare your country of residence, we may cancel the registration or ask you to pay the difference.
- GST. Prices are exclusive of GST, which is levied at the rate prescribed under Indian law (currently 18%). If the rate changes before you pay, the rate in force at the time of payment applies.
- Currency and methods. All fees are charged in Indian Rupees (INR) through Razorpay, which supports UPI, cards, net banking and wallets. International cards are accepted where supported by your bank.
- International payments. For international cards, your bank sets the foreign-exchange conversion rate and any foreign-exchange, cross-border or bank charges. These are not collected by us and are not refundable by us.
- Full payment. We do not offer installments, EMI or partial payments. The full fee is payable at registration.
- Tax invoice. A GST-compliant tax invoice is issued to your registered email address. If you enter a GSTIN at registration, the invoice is issued in the name of that business.
- Price changes. We may change our fees for future registrations at any time. A change never affects a registration that is already confirmed.
- Payment safety. We never ask you to pay by any method other than the Razorpay checkout on this website, and we never ask for your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking password. Do not pay anyone who asks you to pay elsewhere in our name, and please report any such request to us.
7. Batches, schedules & time zones
- Timing preference. At registration you choose a preferred batch timing (Morning, Afternoon, Evening, Weekend or Flexible). We try to place you in a batch that matches your preference, but a preference is not a guarantee of a particular slot.
- Start dates. Batch start dates and final timings are communicated after registration and before the batch begins.
- Time zone. All timings are in Indian Standard Time (IST, UTC+5:30). Learners outside India are responsible for converting them to their local time, including any daylight-saving changes.
- Rescheduling. We may reschedule individual sessions with notice, for example because of public holidays or trainer availability. Rescheduled sessions are held at another time; they are not a ground for a refund.
- Postponement or cancellation. If we postpone a batch start date by more than 30 days, or cancel a batch, you may choose a 100% refund of the amount paid or a free transfer to another batch, as set out in the Refund Policy.
8. Online class delivery & technical requirements
- Delivery. Live sessions are delivered on Google Meet. You may need a Google account to join.
- Your equipment. You need a laptop or desktop computer, a stable internet connection, a modern browser and, where required, the software listed on the course page. Mobile devices may not be suitable for hands-on coding work.
- Personal links. Class links are personal to you. You must not share them, post them publicly or let anyone else attend in your place.
- No recording. You must not record, photograph, screen-capture, distribute screenshots of or redistribute live sessions or materials.
- Recordings. If we make a recording of a session available, it is for your personal study only. We do not promise that every session will be recorded.
- Your connection. We are not responsible for sessions you miss because of problems with your device, internet connection, power supply or local environment, and such problems are not a ground for a refund.
- Session etiquette. We may ask you to switch on your camera or microphone for activities, and we may mute or remove participants who disrupt a session.
9. Offline classes
9.1 Offline classroom batches for learners in Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula are coming soon. No launch date has been announced, they cannot be booked yet and no fees are collected for them.
9.2 Separate terms covering venue, conduct, safety and any mode-specific fees will be published when offline batches launch, and will apply in addition to these Terms.
9.3 If you would like to be informed when offline batches open, you can contact us. If anyone asks you to pay for offline classes now, please do not pay, and let us know.
10. Attendance, assignments & certificate
- Requirements. A Certificate of Completion is issued to learners who complete the course requirements: attendance of at least 75% of live sessions and submission of the required assignments and the final (capstone) project.
- Attendance. Attendance is recorded for each live session. Watching a recording, where one is made available, does not count as attendance.
- Name on the certificate. The certificate is issued in the name you provide at registration. Please make sure it is spelled correctly; you can ask us to correct it before the certificate is issued.
- Nature of the certificate. The certificate is issued by AwT Academy and recognizes completion of an academy course. It is not a university degree, diploma or government qualification, and it does not imply accreditation by, or endorsement from, any other organization.
- Withholding. We may withhold or revoke a certificate obtained through plagiarism, cheating or misrepresentation, or where the requirements in clause (a) have not been met.
11. Learner code of conduct & academic integrity
11.1 We expect every learner to be respectful, punctual and honest, in live sessions, in community groups and in any communication with the academy. In particular, you must not:
- harass, abuse, bully, threaten or discriminate against any learner, trainer or member of the academy team;
- post or share offensive, unlawful, sexually explicit or unrelated promotional content in classes or community groups;
- copy or plagiarize work, submit someone else's work as your own, or use help that is not permitted in an assessment;
- share class links, Content or recordings, or attempt to disrupt sessions;
- impersonate another person or let someone attend or submit work on your behalf;
- attempt to access accounts, systems or data that are not yours, or interfere with the security of the website or the Platform.
11.2 Academic integrity. You may discuss ideas with other learners and use public documentation, but the work you submit must be your own. If you use code or ideas from another source, you must credit it.
11.3 Zero tolerance. We have zero tolerance for harassment, abuse, cheating and the sharing of class links. Serious or repeated breaches may lead to suspension or removal from the course without refund, as set out in section 21.
12. Intellectual property & permitted use
- Our rights. All Content, the AwT Academy name and logo, and this website, including their design and text, belong to us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual-property law.
- Your license. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-commercial license to use the Content for your own learning during and after your course.
- Restrictions. You may not record, copy for others, sell, publish, share, upload, translate or create commercial works from the Content, or use it to run your own training, without our prior written permission.
- Your work. You own the code and project work you create yourself. You may use it in your portfolio and in job applications.
- Showcasing. We may showcase your work, or use your name or image, only with your consent. You may withdraw that consent for future use at any time.
- Other trademarks. Trademarks of other companies mentioned on this website, such as the tools taught in our courses or the companies where our trainer has worked, belong to their owners. Their mention does not imply any partnership with, or endorsement of, the academy.
13. Communications & consent
13.1 Transactional messages. By registering, you agree that we may contact you, and for learners under 18 the parent or guardian, by phone, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your registration, payment, invoice, batch schedule, classes, certificate and support. These messages are necessary to deliver the course and are not marketing.
13.2 Optional updates. We send course updates and information about other programs only if you give the optional consent on the registration form. You can withdraw that consent at any time by telling us, without affecting your course.
13.3 Community groups. If you join a batch or community group (for example on WhatsApp), other members may see your name and phone number. Please follow the code of conduct in section 11 in these groups.
